Jeff Koons + Roof of the Met = Dope

Pop artist Jeff Koons is exhibiting some of his unseen sculptures on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum, NYC.

Back in 2005 Ellie and I caught the Sol LeWitt ‘Splotches’ exhibition on the roof of the Met and it was very cool – intensely colourful fibreglass structures complimented by a 360° panaoramic view of the Manhattan skyline. The Koons exhibition looks even fresher, would love to go check that out but I am poor and thus cannot afford to buy music, let alone fly to New York.
